He says of his work, “If I have to define myself as a painter, I could say I'm a very classical oil painter, very interested in Realism (like 16/17th century) but I paint the contemporary world as I see it.”
Romain has a way to find and represent the beauty found in all subjects, regardless of banality or severity of the situation.
